足立美術館にはいくつか喫茶室がありますが、大観というところはランチメニューもありました。
当日は開館前に伺うと、掃除などをしていますがそれでもよろしければ入館できるとのことで、9時前に入り、庭園やいくつかの美術品、北大路魯山人の焼き物などを眺めた後に、喫茶室の入口まで来ました、
朝早く、まだお客様はおられず、一番乗り、角の素敵なテーブルをお願いしました。
ランチメニューは11時からとのことですが、笹まきおこわであれば可能とのこと。ランチメニューと一緒なら飲み物は400円で選べるとのことでコーヒーをお願いしました。
美術館の庭園の池には錦鯉が泳ぎ、素敵な庭園を眺めていられます。
笹の葉で包んだおこわは、うなぎ・牛肉・あさり。うなぎは柔らかく、牛肉も地場のもののようで美味しいです。アサリは宍道湖ですよね。
美味しかったです。
量は少ないですが、とっても美味しいものでした。景観をお茶付きで楽しめると考えれば価値はあると思いました。
