日御碕とは島根半島西端にある岬のこと。
その海岸線は変化に富み，風光明媚です。
島根県を代表する観光地のひとつですな。
中でも人気スポットなのが日御碕神社。
岬の先端にある国の重要文化財です。
朱塗りの社は桃山時代の面影を残します。
そして，絶対に外せないのが日御碕灯台。
日本一高い石造灯台で絵になる佇まい。
中に入って上まで登れるのもグッドです。

灯台のすぐ近くにあるキレイなカフェ。
近隣には食堂や商店が立ち並んでいます。
折角なので，当店で遅めのランチ。
当店を選んだ訳は入りやすかったから。
スタッフもマスクしてましたしね。
日本海丼，1,200円+tax。
要は日本海の幸をのっけた海鮮丼。
安定の美味しさというヤツですな。
さざえ･焼きイカ定食，1,500円+tax。
さざえの壺焼きと焼きイカも鉄板です。
只，白米よりビールの方が合うかも(笑)。
因みに食事してる間に快晴から雨模様に…
「弁当忘れても，傘忘れるな。」ですね。
最後まで山陰らしかった日御碕でした。
