満席の中、カウンターでエスプレッソを注文しました。かなり時間が経って出てきました。笑。かなり温度は低いでしたが、日本ではなかなかお目にかからないぐらい濃厚でした。その後にマンデリンを注文しました。温度調整も良く、上手にはいっていましたが、マンデリンを愛する私には少し薄く、酸味も気になりました。抽出量がもう少し少ないのがベストでしょう。でもこれは好みの問題で、全く問題ありません。しかもおかわりは種類が違っても半額なので驚きました。素晴らしい喫茶店です。カウンターの木の幅が広いのも素晴らしい。接客態度も市内のホテルと違ってとても良かったです。
駅からすぐの場所にあるのに、ぐるっと回っていきました。しかも途中、天気予報に反して冷たい雨に降られました。駅の表側がこちら側のように思うのですが、駅に出口はありません。昔の京都駅も今と違って南北の通路はなく、入場券を買って移動しなければなりませんでした。若い頃は入場券代も厳しく、汗だくになって歩いた記憶があります。
