九州から本州に戻り、せっかくの曇りだ。日本海側を走ろう。山口といえば角島が有名で、今回も眺めてから海沿いに走る。そんなこんな19時になったら、酒を飲まなくてはいけない。そんなわけで本日は益田市。
どこだろう、ここは。なんとなくディープな街の雰囲気が好きだが…
二軒断られ、入れたのがこちらのお店だが、１人で飲んでいるお客さんはいるが、他にお客さんもいない。メニューからは、どうやら名店の雰囲気もあるが。
結局１人で黙って飲んでいたのでちょい飲み。
カウンター4席、テーブルもそこそこある。こじんまりしたカウンターはいいのだが、調理場とは少し距離がある。
お通しは、じゃがいも。
赤天、酢鶏、なんだかよくわからないメニューもあるのだが、聞いてもよくわからない。こっちでは当たり前のメニューなのかな。
オススメより、バトウフライ。
バトウというのもよくわからないが、どうやら白身らしい。この後行った店のマスターが頼み込んで入ったらしい、当たりのメニューだったようだ。そういえば翌日、道の駅でもバトウフライが売っていた。
