Lake Banryu spreads out on the western outskirts of Masuda City. Its name comes from its shape, which resembles a writhing dragon. Manyo Park and a boat dock are nearby. Early in the morning, I set off for Lake Banryu. The lakeside is still deserted, and it is quiet and refreshing. The view from Manyo Park on the hill is also nice. Now, after I've washed off the sweat, it's time for breakfast. I found a stylish cafe in the city. I changed clothes and headed out by car. [b:Cafe LINQ Masuda]. It's located about a 3-minute drive from JR Masuda Station. It seems that they also have sister stores in [a:32003481, Matsue] and [a:32004273, Izumo]. The atmosphere inside the store is relaxing. It seems to be popular, and it was quite busy from the morning. I got the impression that the clientele was mostly young people. I ordered two types of breakfast, 650 yen + tax. Japanese-style dashi salt rice Onigiri and today's appetizer. French cuisine, limited to six servings per day. Both look good and taste good. The size is a little small though... The fact that it comes with a drink is a plus. Apparently there is also a salad buffet, but it was suspended due to COVID-19 infection prevention measures. The price was 200 yen + tax. Personally, I think it was a good decision. It's better to be more expensive than a place with low awareness of infection prevention. Even if it's in a rural area where there are almost no infected people.
