津和野名物の真っ黒ないなり寿司を食べてみたくなり、『美松食堂』のドアをガラガラと開けました。
こじんまりとした食堂の風情ですが、戦前の昭和6年創業という割にはエージングが進んだ感はありません。建て直ししているんでしょうか？
旧くなくてもベタな大衆食堂の趣がある店内。
麦茶の入ったポットが懐かしい感じです。
『うどん定食』をセレクトしました。
うどんは透き通ったあっさりおつゆにかまぼこ、とろろ昆布、ちくわ、ネギとシンプルな一杯。
ただ、うどんがおそらく丸断面なのか、柔らかく凄く滑らかなすすり心地。
そして黒いいなりは、やはり登場の瞬間から衝撃的なビジュアル（笑）
見た目だけじゃない醤油の深いコクがギュッと染み込んだお揚げ。かと言って塩っ辛いものではなく、きちんといなりの魅力である『あまから』が保たれています。
シンプルな酸味の酢飯と相性がよくて、なるほどこれは津和野の名物たり得る逸品だと。
