津和野を散策した時に、あちこちのお菓子屋さんで見かける「源氏巻」。
これは津和野銘菓ということなので、お宿で評判を聞いてこちらの「宗家」さんにお伺いしました。
外観は洒落ッ気の全くない、いかにも昔ながらといった感じ。店内に入っても、こちらも「昔ながらでやってます」という雰囲気。
せっかくの観光ですから、綺麗なお土産屋で買いたい。それもお洒落に包装された方がいい！という方には向きません。
なんせ、買った源氏巻はビニールでくるんだだけですから。とてもお土産には…。
とはいえ、観光地の銘菓にしては１９０円でこのドッシリ感。中に餅も入ってるのかなぁ？
ものすごい食べ応えです。２人だったので２本購入したんですけど、これなら１本を２人で分ければ良かった。というくらいの、ボリューム感です。
「私は甘党だ！」という方は１本丸々食べた方がいいでしょうけど、それ以外の方は控えめに…。
ちなみに、こちらのお店から歩いてすぐの場所に太鼓谷稲成神社があります。
こちらの鳥居のトンネルは圧巻ですので、ぜひお店を訪れた際にはついでにご散策ください。
