日曜の夕方に伺いました。狭い階段を上がって入った店内は、狭めの空間にテーブルがいくつも並び、ちょっとタイの街角のお店のよう。そして、お味も本場タイの味をそのままもってきたお味でした。
こちらのお店、値段の付け方も大雑把。ビールはシンハもチャンもレオも同じ。レオはシンハがつくっている発泡酒ですよ。ビールと発泡酒が同じ量で同じ値段が同じってどうなんでしょ。と思っていたら、一番搾りもエビスも同じ中瓶で同じ値段でした。まあ、おおらかなんでしょうね。
料理は、コースで頼んだので、一品ずつの名前は忘れてしまいました。どれも本場の味で美味しかったのですが、特に、ワタリガニ入りのカレーが美味しかったなあ。カレーにちゃんと蟹の旨味が活きていました。
それから、トムヤムクン。具材も日本的な代用品ではなく、とっても美味でした。
