Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) izakaya where time passes peacefully.
The theme is the 1950s! A nostalgic adult drinking party in a retro atmosphere♪ Located in a corner of Konyamachi, Bidam Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) a Showa-era izakaya where time flows calmly. The s |
Right in front of Nakajimaya Hotel and just behind Shizuoka PARCO. I didn't even realize this restaurant was here. I heard that it has been here for over 10 years. The front is narrow and inconspicuous, but there is a retro red lantern hanging. When you enter, everything is nostalgic, with a Showa-era feel. There are counter seats and a kitchen on the left, and a tatami room in the back. This time, I enjoyed drinks and food in the tatami room. When I sat down, I was captivated by the thing that said "Ostrich" (Ostrich). Of course I ordered it. Because I've never eaten it before and I don't know where I'll be able to eat it in the future. Personally, I had an image of ostrich meat running around at that speed and being muscular, so I thought it would be similar to chicken breast, but the plate that was served was red meat with no fat. When I ate it, it was light and had no peculiar taste. It may be said to be bland, but the meat itself is soft. The thing I loved most about this restaurant was the "Beef stew." The beef was stewed until it was soft and flavorful, but the stewed broth was the best. I asked the chef if I could have rice because I wanted to eat a hearty meal with lots of broth, but he didn't have any that day. If I ate this broth, I'd definitely never be able to eat Gyudon (Beef bowl) at Yoshiya or other places. The other thing was the French fries. These had a strong garlic flavor and went perfectly with alcohol. At this stage, I've decided that when I eat French fries at home, I'll always have garlic. I ordered a variety of other things, and none of them were a disappointment. If I'm having trouble finding a restaurant, I'll come back.
