I had lunch here today. My stomach is a bit upset from drinking too much yesterday... so I want to eat soba for lunch the next day. Togakushi Soba is a reliable choice for times like these. This is my first visit to the Gofukumachi branch. It was after 12 o'clock on a Saturday, but I was seated in about 5 minutes. After that, there were several groups waiting outside, so I was lucky with the timing! I ordered this menu! I chose the set that uses Oyster, which are only available now. ・ Oyster and seasonal vegetable Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) bowl set 1,400 yen/tax included ・Large serving of soba +180 yen/tax included It arrived in less than 10 minutes, so fast! The specialty seaweed oroshi, Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) (with less rice), condiments, pickles, miso soup. I'll eat it right away. First of all, the seaweed oroshi... Yes, it's delicious! It's consistent. White soba noodles of the Sarashina style, with seaweed, tempura scraps, grated daikon radish, and ginger. It's refreshing, has a good texture, and goes down well. The snow peas are crispy and sweet. As expected, it is a signature dish. Next was Ten-don (tempura rice bowl)... Two large 2L Oyster from Hiroshima Prefecture, lotus root, carrots, and chrysanthemum. It had been a while since they were fried, but that was within the acceptable range. I was looking forward to Oyster, but they didn't feel as big as they would be described as 2L, so I guess they had shrunk quite a bit. They were plump and tasty, so I had no complaints about that. The lotus root was thickly sliced and crunchy, the carrots were sliced and sweet and soft, and the chrysanthemum was fried with a nice aroma. Thank you for the meal! I also had miso soup and pickles, and was full. Good value for money, good taste, this is why they are so popular with the people of Shizuoka.
