Matsuzakaya is more aptly called a department store than a department store. This is K2FB. My mother came from my hometown, so we had lunch at Cattleya Dining on the 8th floor of Matsuzakaya. It's an in-Family restaurant restaurant with a Japanese and Western menu. I was drawn to the place where Japanese soba was fried, so I went for fried noodles with Seafood sauce. It's crispy, but there's a slight wet feeling to the core... It felt a little different than I expected. The ingredients were luxurious with plenty of plump shrimp. The hot coffee has a deep richness and a distinct sourness, which seems to be UCC and is probably a Toarco Toraja blend. I was confused about the menu, but overall the prices were reasonable for an in-store restaurant. I think Cattleya Dining is a great place for easy and satisfying dining.
