Imozo @ Gofukumachi Today is a banquet with a small number of people. The location is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) ``Imozo'' along the street in Gofukumachi. This store was closed for a while due to the coronavirus, but it just reopened last month. This is my first visit, but I have high expectations as they have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. You will be the first to enter the restaurant and will be guided to your reserved seat. First, let's toast with draft beer. The seats tonight are in private rooms, so you can rest assured. In addition, today's course is an Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot)-drink plan. But it comes with a note. It was a chilled potato. Well, this can't be helped. All-you-can-drink menu. What makes this shop unique is the large variety of shochu, especially sweet potato shochu. There are many brands listed that I have never seen before, so it can be confusing. However, I don't like potatoes, so I mostly use barley. For those who want to drink a variety of things, the Tabari all-you-can-drink plan is the best. Then came Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) with great expectations. This looks interesting. The white stuff on top is probably wonton skin. The shop will give you instructions on how to make Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), and you will carefully create Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) while looking at the instructions. I'm not sure, but it seems like you shouldn't stir it too much. There are many manners that I don't know about. The second drink is a recommended shochu mixed with water. I forget the brand, but it's easy to drink and has no taste. Please note that we asked for all the quantities to be ``dark''. The pot finally comes to a boil, and I'm going to have this. Add plenty of seasoning. The tender, simmered beef offal has delicious fat. In addition, the soup you can choose is soy sauce flavored. The third cup is Chuhai. This is also easy to drink. I had to ring the call bell every time I needed a drink refill, and they responded quickly. There seemed to be only one other group of customers, and the shop was quiet until the end. More drinks are added. I forgot what this is. Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) is delicious and will keep you drinking. We also added barley locks. For a change of pace, I'll try splitting it into oolong. However, this was a little thin. No, I guess I drank too much and my sense of taste became numb. Now it was time for last order. Lastly, I ordered a warm drink to finish off my meal with sake. And now comes the long-awaited conclusion. I had a hard time deciding what to make to finish off the hot pot, but I decided to go with champon. Additional noodles are ordered for two people. Add the soup and bring it to a boil, then add the champon noodles. This looks delicious. It's been a long time since I've had hotpot noodles. The Champon was very popular and was gone in no time. Well, if you think about it, today's only snack is hot pot, so I'm pretty hungry. Enjoy your meal for two hours and pay your bill here. Although I added an additional fee, I was able to enjoy it cheaply at about 2,700 yen per person. This was my first time at this store, and the room was spacious and comfortable. These kind of spacious seats are nice during the coronavirus pandemic. I would like to make a reservation again with a different menu next time. Thank you for the meal.
