5 minutes walk from Shizuoka Station!
A warm and homely restaurant where you can taste authentic traditional Korean cuisine opened near Cenova in January 2013! The friendly and cheerful Korean wife serves heartfelt homemade food. The dish |
I wasn't feeling well before the national exam, so I went in thinking I'd like to get some kimchi power from my trip to Korea, which I've always wanted to try! When I looked at the menu, I saw that they also had samgyetang! Of course it was quite expensive, but I splurged because I wanted to take it home for two meals, plus energy drinks and cold medicine before the national exam! I waited quite a while. About 30 minutes? More? I looked up the recipe and it said to simmer for 50 minutes. Not only are the ingredients expensive, but it's a time-consuming dish. But I really felt energized. The meat fell apart. It seems to be like this when simmered for a long time. In Japan, samgyetang is eaten in the winter to warm the body and prevent colds, but in Korea, it is said to be like eel, eaten in the summer to nourish and strengthen the body. The shape changes when it is simmered for a long time, but I wonder if the nutrition or effect on the body changes. The glutinous rice porridge melts and gives the soup viscosity. I think that warms the body even more. I received a takeaway container and enjoyed it on the second day. Well, if I eat this and kimchi, I'll definitely feel energized because it's full of stamina-boosting ingredients, and I can get meat and raw vegetables. I now understand why Koreans are so powerful. I think I'll try making it with chicken wings and thighs next time. Mommy was also very kind, just like other reviewers said. There was some pickled ginseng in front of the register. I wonder how much a bottle of this costs...
