I went to Mochizuki, a Japanese-style Western Western Cuisine in Shindenma, Shizuoka City. This time, I ordered Hamburg Steak for 950 yen, the B set for 529 yen, and my companion ordered the omelette rice with Omelette Rice sauce for 930 yen. The B set comes with soup, a mini salad, bread, dessert, and coffee. The soup was a pumpkin potage. It was carefully prepared and delicious. However, it was quite hot. The mini salad had shredded cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber, and French cuisine dressing. Hamburg hamburger steak was firm and had no strong flavor, and was topped with a soft-boiled fried egg. The side dishes were French fries and broccoli. I thought the demi-glace sauce had a good richness and flavor. The bread was also authentic and delicious. It went well with butter. The cheesecake was topped with vanilla ice cream and mint leaves, and the presentation was good. Omelette Rice, chunky chicken rice, and hard-cooked egg were delicious. The chef does the whole thing alone. Prices are 8% tax instead of 10%.
