今回の浜松での宿泊は、「リッチモンドホテル浜松」です。JR浜松駅からは少し離れていますが、浜松城や浜松市役所のある大通り沿いで、ビジネス街の中にあります。
そして、ホテルの朝食会場は「ケイズカフェ」さん。ホテルの１階にあり、ホテル宿泊客以外にも朝食を提供されています。但し、あくまで朝食のみの営業であり、朝10時には閉店するという珍しい営業形態のようです。お店は通りに面してガラス張りで、太陽の光が差し込み、明るい雰囲気で、テーブルの配置も広々としていました。
ビジネスホテルの朝食らしくブュッフェ形式であり、料理・ドリンク共に平均的だと思います。出張の朝食の楽しみでもある地元食材としては、「浜松餃子」と「うなぎご飯」がありました。この「うなぎご飯」がなかなか美味しく、うなぎ茶漬けにしていただきましたが、サラサラといくらでも食べられる感じです。あまり朝は食欲が無いのですが、それでもお代わりしてしまいました。
あと、朝食専門だけあって、サービス体制は充実しており、料理の入れ替えや利用後のお皿の後片付けなどは、スタッフが素早く行っていたのは好印象です。食後のコーヒーまで、気持ち良く過ごすことが出来ました。今まで浜松では色々なホテルに宿泊しましたが、これはリピートする一軒になりそうですね。
