静岡県浜松市役所近くのビジネスホテルの１Ｆにあるカフェテリアです。カフェといっても営業しているのは基本的に朝6:30〜10:00だけで、メニューはモーニング・ビュッフェのみとなるリッチモンドホテル浜松の朝食会場です。
しかし、店の入口はホテルのロビーではなく国道152号線に面していて、ホテルの宿泊客以外の一般の人も入ることができます。モーニング・ビュッフェの値段は宿泊客は1,200円、一般客は1,500円。ビジネスホテルの朝食ビュッフェとしては標準的な価格でしょうか。
この日のビュッフェ料理は、細かくカウントすれば40種類以上。和洋卒なくラインナップされたビュッフェです。ただ、どちらかというと和食メニューが多くて、デザート系が弱い感じ。リッチモンドホテルのビジネスマン宿泊者に的を絞ったメニュー構成がうかがえます。
ビジネスホテルの朝食としてはそれなりに満足度の高い朝食ですが、中でも浜松餃子（ニンニク抜き）やうなぎご飯など浜松らしいメニューには注目です。特にうなぎご飯はイチオシで、鰻そのものは少しだけですが、ひつまぶしの御飯のように鰻の旨味とタレがしみ込んだメチャウマの御飯がおかわり自由でいただけるのですから、それだけでもかなり幸せな朝食ですね(^^)
一部の格安ビジネスホテルとは違って何から何までセルフサービスの放ったらかしということはなく、食べ終わった食器はちゃんとスタッフが下げに来てくれる等サービスも上々。この値段でこの朝食がいただけるなら、けっこう穴場的なスポットのような気がします。
