A restaurant serving Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
This is an Indian and Nepalese Cuisine restaurant in Mikatahara. There are 26 types of curry. We recommend the cheese naan, which is overflowing with cheese. You can also enjoy dal bhat, Local Cuisine |
This time I went on a curry tour. I went to an Indian/ Nepalese Cuisine called "Royal Curry" in Kita-ku, Hamamatsu City. I went there for lunch. There are unlimited options for the lunch set, and a wide variety of curries. There are some curries that I don't see very often, which is amazing. I couldn't decide. In the end I went for the "Cheese Naan Set" and the curry was "Prawn Malabar", which I've never tried before. The cheese naan set includes: ・One type of curry (any from the menu) ・Cheese naan (you can have more naan and rice) ・Salad ・Drink I paid 1,150 yen. ◯Food/Taste...I think it's one of the more well-made Indian Nepalese Cuisine I've been to so far. ・Prawn Malabar It was a thick, creamy, mellow curry. It had butter in it, and the reddish color made me think it was close to a butter chicken curry, but it didn't taste as tomato-y as it looked. I thought it was amazing that the shrimp used in the filling was not the small shrimp that is often used in this type of curry, but rather a large one. I like the easy-to-eat type that goes well with naan.・Cheese naan It's a big size, about 23 or 24 cm. It's filling. The taste is simple and it doesn't seem to contain sugar or spices. The cheese was chewy and juicy. ・Plain naan It's about 50 cm x 30 cm, and like the cheese naan, it's big. It's not big because it's thin, and it's filling. It has a chewy texture, a sweet dough, and a nice buttery aroma on the surface. ・Salad Salad with sesame dressing. There is a good amount. ◎Service...There is no limit to the curry you can choose with the lunch set, and the wide variety of curries is quite attractive. In addition to the prawn malabar I ate this time, I'm interested in kwati, rajma, and jalfrezi. As for the customer service, the staff, who seem to be locals, were nice, and even though it was crowded, the shop was well-run. ◯Atmosphere...It's a small, cozy town Cafeterias. The seats were table seats. It seems like a homey place to use without having to be too formal. ◯ Value for money: The price is not that cheap, but you can choose any curry you like from the main menu, so it's great for the price. What's more, it's amazing that it's the same price even at night. ◯ Overall: The food is well-made, there are plenty of curry options, and the value for money is also great. It's good to try the standard curry, or you can try your favorite curry from the main menu. I think it's a convenient and good restaurant.
