遠鉄・第一通り駅から西へ20メートル余り。夜の帳が下り始めた第一通りに、何やら黄色い看板が目立っています。看板には「大衆酒場」の文字に続いて「GYO the MAN」。「男のギョ？」なんじゃそりゃ？ 「GYO」は「行」なのかな？ ということは「行者」？ それなら普通に「Deity」だろ？ …と店名だけでも盛り上がれそうです(^_^;)
ギョウザマンという店名から想像したとおり、餃子に対する意識はかなり高め。浜松餃子をはじめメニューにはなんと16種類もの餃子がラインナップされています。
その中でもイチオシは肉々しくてニンニクもたっぷりの「男餃子」418円。野菜たっぷりの浜松餃子とは真逆のアプローチですが、コレはこれでなかなかイケる味わいです。
特に「男は黙って生ビール（プレミアムモルツ）」550円との相性は最高でした(^^)v
ちなみに「男は黙って…」ならサッポロじゃないんかい！といちいちツッコみたくなります(^^ゞ
お通しの「アサリとあおさ海苔の酒蒸し」440円は美味しかったのですが、個人的にはフラッと寄った一人呑みでお通しは不要なのでマイナスポイント。しかし、餃子も生ビールも単品価格としては十分にリーズナブルです。
店内は明るい雰囲気で、スタッフも細かな気配りが感じられて居心地も良好。クレジットカードや電子マネー、PayPay等も使えて使い勝手も悪くありません。
次回はもう少し時間のある時に伺ってみたいと思います。
