I visited Golden Tiger Hamamatsu store for the first time, which just opened on November 17, 2023. It looks like the place that was originally Benitora Gyoza / Dumpling has been renovated and reopened. * Gyoza / Dumpling and Golden Tiger are operated by Wai Corporation, so I guess this means they have been renovated. It's a very comfortable space with large windows, a spacious interior with high ceilings, and spacious seating. Since I visited just before the end of lunch, the restaurant was empty, so I was able to relax. Order the lunch set - Tiger Gyoza / Dumpling in two colors, black and yellow *Free refills of rice and soup. The black Gyoza / Dumpling are beef Gyoza / Dumpling, and the yellow Gyoza / Dumpling are pork Gyoza / Dumpling. The appearance of these two-colored Gyoza / Dumpling is very impressive! First, we tasted the black beef Gyoza / Dumpling with vinegar and pepper, and it was really delicious! There was plenty of meat juice, and the skin was well-cooked and the filling was very good. On the other hand, vinegar and pepper don't go well with yellow pork Gyoza / Dumpling? I tried eating it with soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil, but the pork won out, and these didn't seem to match either, so in the end, it was best to eat it as is without adding anything. The soup is thick, piping hot, and has a gentle flavor. It was so delicious that I had to replace the soup. Zha cai and Small dish (especially Small dish) were excellent as accompaniments to rice, and the rice went well. It was also really nice to be able to get water and hot oolong tea on my own! After tasting the rare Gyoza / Dumpling and being in this wonderful store (space, decorations, etc.), I found a wonderful restaurant that made me want to try Gyoza / Dumpling and a wide variety of other dishes in the evening.
