This is a specialty Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, and Teppan-yaki restaurant that uses ingredients such as Okonomiyaki flour, Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) noodles, and sauce from Osaka, the birthplace of okonomiyaki. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there is a large iron plate, and the food is cooked one by one here and brought to the iron plate in the dining area. The spacious restaurant has table seats and tatami seating. If you have children, you can rest assured that they will not turn on the heat on the iron plate. In addition to Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki, there are many other dishes such as Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), so I always have trouble deciding what to order. As someone from Kobe, the birthplace of sobameshi, I was a little surprised by the ratio of soba to rice in sobameshi, which was something I had never experienced in Kansai. The sobameshi here is mostly soba, and the ratio of rice is very low. It was about 8.5 to 9 parts soba, and the remaining 1 to 1.5 parts rice. It's a good idea to stop by Takorikiya Main Store while taking a drive along National Route 150, and since the Hamamatsu Station store (1-40 Kajicho, Naka-ku) opened in October last year, you can now enjoy this flavor in Hamamatsu as well.
