福田漁港にある交流館、真正面に海が眺められる広々としたイートインがありまして、レストランは3件、海鮮2件とカフェ1件の構成ですが、木曜の今日はカフェがお休みでした。海鮮系はしらすやかつお、海鮮の丼をウリにしていますが、どれも千円前後で楽しめる価格設定が有り難いです。
入口に近い幸の字さん、今日は休漁なので生シラスが無いというので、しらすかき揚げの温かいお蕎麦650円を。店頭に並んでいる太刀魚のフライ300円、珍しくもあり併せて購入に。こちらで食べるなら、太刀魚はこれから揚げますよ～揚げててどうぞ、と店員さん。嬉しい限りです。時間が早かったこともあり、フロアには数組。素晴らしい晴天に光る海に漁船が航行しているのが眺められ良い気分メーターうなぎ登りで待ちます。
揚げたてシラスのかき揚げはやさしい味で温かい蕎麦を盛りたて、太刀魚のフライは大盛で5切れほど、ふっくら柔らかで滅多にない味わいを頂き、遠州のグルメと充実のひと時を満喫いたしました。
