当店名物”振袖餅”をぜひ一度ご賞味ください。
当店は創業約200年旧東海道沿い掛川宿に茶店として営業して参りました。名物”振袖餅”は、当初は平たい形をしており、着物の振袖の形に似ていたことが名前の由来とされています。その昔、観音菩薩を参拝に来る人々が帰途の途中に、弊店の餅を土産として買っていたっといわれています。”振袖餅”と共に東海道の歴史に思いをはせてみてはいかがでしょうか。 |
週末の9:50頃にたまたま通りかかりました。出張のお土産を買うために入店。朝早くから開店している店で、イートインの客が2名、購入中の客が2名、接客している店員が2名、繁盛しているお店の様です。栗まんじゅう165円、カステラカット180円、焼き栗220円、サイコロクッキー160円、幸せたまご160円を購入。サイコロクッキーはサクサククッキーと表面のパウダーシュガーのバランスが最高で甘くておいしかったです。
