A 10-minute walk from Kakegawa Station. A Japanese-style bar with an urban flair, located in a shopping street!
Along with a wide variety of dishes and drinks, the restaurant has an urban atmosphere where you can have fun with your friends without worrying about time! Weekdays only, all-you-can-drink wine for 9 |
It's the long-awaited season for new tea! We visited after enjoying a steam locomotive trip and tasting new tea at Kakegawa Tea Town. It is located almost directly opposite Wine Bar "Amphora". The landmark is the wine barrel in front of the entrance. The entrance is a sliding door, so you can see the inside of the restaurant well, and you can tell at a glance how busy it is. I actually wanted to stop by Amphora to tell the owner that I had passed the wine expert test, but there was about one person who wanted to talk about wine trivia (;^ω^), so I gave up on visiting this time. I will definitely visit there when I travel alone and thank them. My four friends and I ordered tonteki, octopus Ajillo, and margherita. One customer was selfish and said, "Put a soft-boiled egg on the margherita to make it Bismarck style." Yes, that was me (;^ω^). I was going to order an Italian wine, but there was one heavy drinker so I was afraid we would lose out and go half-way, so I ended up ordering a Cotes du Rhone Rouge (^ω^). Later, more customers came in and it was a lively and fun atmosphere. The staff were all good looking and the service was good too. Judging from the atmosphere of the restaurant, I imagine it's often used for girls' get-togethers. For the after-party, we went to "Spice Bar Minstrel" in the food stall village. I met up with JAN again and toasted with Chocolate and rum! This food pairing went really well together. Kakegawa is famous for its tea, but I never knew there was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with such a nice atmosphere. I think I'm starting to like it even more. Thank you for the meal.
