前から行ってみたいと思っていたALEHOUSEに行ってきました。
英国風パブということで、もっと大衆的な雑然とした雰囲気を予想していたのですが、実際はすごく落ち着いた雰囲気のお店でした。
料理も大雑把な料理が山盛り出てくるのかと思ったら、綺麗に盛りつけした料理が出てきました。
ただ、料理が出てくるまでに少し時間が掛かり過ぎかなぁと感じました。
一品目が出てくるまでにビール２杯くらいいけちゃいました。。。
それと、料理のメニューは普通の居酒屋と比べると種類は少ないです。
パブによくありがちの、フィッシュ＆チップス、ソーセージ、ピザ、パスタ、チーズあたりが中心で、あとはサラダくらいでしょうか。
飲み物はさすがにビールの種類が豊富。
ボクらみたいなシロウトが行っても何が何やらわかりません。
普通のラガーとかドライとかないし。。。
わからない人は、とりあえずお店の人にオススメを聞いてみるのがいいでしょう。
いろいろ教えてくれます。
カクテルやウィスキーなどもあって、自分のような洋酒好きな人も楽しめると思います。
仕事が終わったあと軽く一杯というよりは、別の店で飲んだ後、少人数でゆっくり語り合うのに向いていると思います。
または、一人でカウンターで飲むというのもいいかもしれません。
