JR金谷駅、大井川鐵道の新金谷駅から徒歩15分程にある、1962年から愛され続ける食事処。
駐車場は、お店の前以外にも少し離れた修理工場の跡地？にもあります。
昼時になるとどこからともなくお客さんがやってきて、あっという間に満席になります。
カツ丼と半ラーメンのボリューム満点セットが人気の様で頼む人が多いです。
わたしは季節限定の『カキフライ定食』を頼みました。
やって来たのは、２段に重ねれられたカキフライでテンションが上がります。
口の中で刺さりそうなサクサクの衣に包まれた、熱々の広島産の牡蠣はクリーミーで美味しかったのですが、ほとんどが衣でフライの大きさに比べ牡蠣自体はかなり小さくテンションは下がってしまいました。
牡蠣自体が小さいのは仕方がないので、こんな場合は一つのフライに２つ３つの牡蠣で揚げてくれると嬉しい。
お米はふっくらで、お味噌汁は優しい味付けで定食としての完成度は高くお腹は一杯になりました。
