夏といえば、「おほつ庵」さんの「麩まんじゅう」。
餡子が生麩に包まれた清涼感あふれる夏の和菓子です。
僕のような左党でも、つい2個目に手をのばしてしまいます。
「わらびもち」も夏の定番です。

島田第二小学校近くの「おほつ庵」さん。
和洋折衷のお菓子屋さんです。
こちらの名物はいろいろありますが、僕が気に入っているのは、その名もズバリ「しまだぷりん」です。
はじめていただいたのは、もうずいぶん前になりますけれど、いまだその魅力あせず・・・といった感じでしょうか。
卵の味がしっかりトロリと濃厚なプリンと、苦みの利いたカラメルソースの対比。
子供ははじめから眼中にないぞ！という、意気込みすら感じられるプリンです。
特に左党の男性には喜ばれるプリンだと思います。
