富士宮市根原、国道139号線沿いに「道の駅 朝霧高原」があります。
本日は、仕事の関係で新富士駅からレンタカーで移動、仕事も無事に終わり、こちらの施設に立ち寄りました。
名瀑「白糸ノ滝」からもほど近い、便利なロケーションですね。
この日は、肝心要の富士山が雲で覆われてしまい、全く見えず、近くで拝めなかったのが残念でしたが、こちらで手作りアイスクリームのみかん（税込400円）をいただき、ちょっとだけ留飲を下げました。
券売機で先に食券を購入するシステム。
文字通り、手作り感満点のアイスクリームです。
濃厚なあさぎり牛乳をメインに、みかんの甘みと果肉を合わせた、誰からも好まれる、さっぱり・さわやかなみかん味に仕上げています。
ボリューム的にも満足、次も欲しくならない後味の巧みなアイスクリーム。
なかなか行ける場所ではありませんが、良い思い出となりました。
