Visited in September 2017 Katsugin is a Pork Cutlet chain restaurant that operates in the central eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture. The Fujinomiya Akochi store is located along National Route 139, which runs from Fujinomiya Road in Fujinomiya, on the same premises as Chuka Ichiban-tei. I went there on a Saturday night before going to Fujinomiya's day trip hot springs with my family. On this day, the shops along Route 139 were so crowded that I gave up on several shops, and this was my first time using them. Arrived after 6pm. The parking lot is shared with Ichiban-tei, so there are a lot of spaces, but it was crowded so we managed to park. Inside the store, there are counter seats, table seats, and tatami mats, and the counter seats were apparently empty, but I waited a little while before arriving at a table seat. It seemed like the fried oysters had just started, so I ordered the fried oysters and fin cutlet set meal. First, let's go to the restaurant. There is a buffet-style corner with several types of rice, miso soup, vegetables, pickles, and soft drinks, and the cost performance will vary depending on how you use this corner. While I was eating vegetables and miso soup, the main Fried food arrived. The fried oysters come in two large pieces and are served with tartar sauce. Oyster seem to be good and delicious, but perhaps it's been a while since they were fried, so they weren't juicy, which is a bit disappointing. The fillet cutlet is usually delicious, crispy, fried, and stable. Refilling with rice, miso soup, etc. makes you feel full and satisfied. Since there is a dining area, you can adjust the portion size, making it easy for families to use.
