三島/沼津辺りで1番お勧めできる鰻屋をグルメな医師から紹介頂き訪店。
日曜日12:30ごろ、車はお店の前の駐車スペースを確保、待ち人数は5、6組だったが、受付パネルにて座敷でも可と登録したところ、2組目に繰り上げで呼ばれた。おそらく、テーブル席の方が人気なのだろう。
店内は老若男女おり、お酒が入った組は声が大きくなる場面もあった。
国産鰻を使った鰻重をはじめ、中国産鰻3枚を使った鰻重、うざく、白焼半身、肝焼きなどを注文。
注文は押しボタン式で直ぐに注文をとりに来てくれる。
鰻重は15分ほど時間がかかった気がするが、他は5分ぐらいでどんどん持ってきてくれた。
自席から辺りを見渡すと、着席後は国産鰻の重箱とそれ以外の重箱の比率は五分五分のように見えたが、退店前の様子では大半がそれ以外の重箱だった気がする。
そもそも中国産の鰻は食べないように暮らしているため、今回は騙されたと思い、食してみた。
結論は、中国産うなぎは脂がしっかり乗っており、味もしっかりしているように思た。一方で、国産鰻は同じ脂がしっかり乗っていたが、少しあっさりした味わいに思えた。両方ともに、鰻の臭みは全くない。しかし、中国産うなぎに抵抗がある場合は、味の奥の奥に臭みがないか探しに行くだろう。
白焼きはおそらく中国産だろう、肝焼き、うざくも中国産だろう。しかし、白焼きは浜松で食べた白焼よりも断然美味しく、1番美味しい白焼きだった。
うざくも味と温度差のバランスが良い。
沼津、三島に来る際には1番お勧めできる鰻屋のようだ。
