沼津 『 中国料理 東王 』
昔からお世話になっております。
ランチ時は気軽に伺える町中華、夜は本格的な中国料理が頂けるという何とも懐の深いお店。
誇張なく、何を食べても美味しい。
炒飯はしっとりとパラパラの中間、絶妙なバランス感。
全体的に中華料理にありがちな油の重さがなく、餡掛けやクリーム煮、チリソースなどの塩梅が丁度良い。
東の王を名乗るに相応しい風格であります。
2枚目の取り皿の写真、この皿の量は嬉しい。
往年の名作｢美味しんぼ｣にて、山岡士郎が一人一枚しか取り皿を渡さない意地悪な中華店に対して｢胡麻ソースもチリソースも同じ皿で食うのか！｣とブチ切れて店を出るシーンがありましたが、彼も東王に来れば思わずニッコリでしょう。
全然関係無い話ですが、｢美味しんぼ｣でさも人格者の様な扱いの海原雄山も作品の初期にはフランス料理店で鴨が出された際、いきなり持参した山葵醤油で鴨を食べはじめ、｢このソースより山葵醤油の方が美味い！ガハハ！何がフランス料理じゃい！｣とシェフも客もドン引きさせる性格破綻者であったことをふと思い出しました。
