先ず、店名より“大衆食堂”の文字が目に付きます。
メニューは揚げ物やカレー等まさに大衆的。その中から日替わりのBランチ780円をオーダーしました。
メンチカツにエビフライが2本。味噌汁と玉子豆腐が付きます。
揚げ物は業務用を使用しているようですね。厚めの衣(パン粉の下)が手作りでは出せない感じ。
それに看板メニュー(?)の“あしたかつ”とは別物でした(こちらも冷食ですが)。
定食の命、ご飯は何とかして欲しいです。この日は開店直後だけにベストコンディションのはずですが、昭和の学校給食レベルでは…。
三島コロッケ、あしたかつどちらも地元スーパーで冷食が手に入りますが、自分で調理をしない人や居酒屋感覚で使うには適しているのかもしれません。
