去年の秋頃のこと。ある日、国道1号を車で通過した時「あれ？新しいレストラン？」と看板に気づいたのだけれど、それらしき店までどうやって行けばよいか非常に分かりにくく、行きそびれてばかり。自転車乗りの家人にたずね、ようやく車でたどり着けました。道のりが若干トリッキーですね。
クリスマス直前で大きなツリーが飾られた店内は、フォーマルすぎずカジュアル過ぎず、そこそこ雰囲気もよいです。半個室のようなスペースと、少し大きめのパーテーション有りのテーブル席で、そこそこ落ち着いています。
お昼はプチランチコース。デザートまでついてきます。自分は前菜のテリーヌがとても気に入りました。味付けが濃すぎず素材の風味を活かしていました。おいしかったです。メインはお魚をチョイスしましたが、これもおいしかったのでソースをすべてパンで取って食べてしまいました。バルサミコとオリーブオイルのバランスも良かったです。ただ、男性やたくさん食べる方には物足りないかな。追加でパンをおかわりする必要があるかもしれませんね。
多少ぎこちなさもありましたが、フロアの女性のアテンドや素直な笑顔は飾り気がなく、むしろ好感が持てました。過度にサービスが重いお店より、自分はこのくらいの方が好みです。
ゆったりのんびり休日にランチをとるにはよいですね。アルコールつきのディナーにも行ってみたいのですが、いかんせん最寄り駅から遠いので気軽に行けないのが残念です(どうしても自分の車で移動するのが多い地域ですので)。最近ランチにパスタを加えたと聞いたので、時間のとれる休日にまた行きたいですね。
