青春18の移動途中の小腹を満たすために訪ねてきました。
三島駅南口改札目の前に位置する立ち食いそば＆うどん屋「爽亭」。名古屋駅の有名な「住吉きしめん」と同じジャパン・トラベル・サーヴィスに所属していることから、きしめんを提供しています。
朝得そばは、キツネ・プラス・タヌキで、油揚げと天かすがトッピングされています。そば自体には特筆すべき蕎麦の香りはないものの、喉越しがよく、普通にうまいもんです。つゆは濃いめで、醤油の強さや甘味は控えめ。その代わり、かつおだしの風味が際立っています。
みしまコロッケは三島馬鈴薯（メークイン）で作ったコロッケです。ミンチも入っているのですが、主役は明らかにジャガイモ。ハッシュドポテトのようにジャガイモの甘味と風味が強く、つゆに浸すとそのホロホロ感がさらに増します。これは意外にそばとはぴったり。
