I visited during lunch time. The location is... From the south exit of the station, exit the rotary to the right and cross the crosswalk in front of Ira de. Go through "Nakamise Shopping Street" and turn right when the arcade ends to find it. 7 minutes walk from the station. No parking lot. Closed on Sundays. There are about 6 counter seats and 5 tables with 4-person seats on the raised platform. As of April 2022, smoking is permitted. The background music is oldies J-POP. The interior of the store is well ventilated and considerate. In front of the counter, there is a full line of shochu, whiskey, spirits, and liqueurs. It seems that you can keep a bottle of shochu at night. There are 4 types of lunch menu as shown below, and rice refills are free. There were "8 pieces" of fried chicken, which is a real meat-eater, and I was immediately surprised by the overwhelming volume. The fried chicken has a light and crispy texture, and the batter is seasoned to whet the appetite, and has a taste similar to Tatsuta-age. You can also taste the flavor of ginger, and the relatively strong seasoning makes it easy to eat rice... It's piping hot, so be careful not to burn your mouth! The fried chicken is so delicious that you won't get tired of eating it even after eating 4 or 5 pieces. You can change the flavor by adding lemon or mayonnaise. As side dishes, lightly seasoned cucumber and simmered gizzard are served. The gizzard is served casually, which is typical of Grilled skewer restaurant. I think it's a good idea to serve Chinese-style egg soup instead of the usual miso soup, but today the seasoning was a little too strong. The fruit is small cut watermelon. There are six Gyoza / Dumpling, and they are soft and juicy. They are not particularly distinctive, but they are just delicious Gyoza / Dumpling. Compared to the overwhelming volume of the fried chicken, this gives a moderate impression. Small dish are a three-item assortment of sweet simmered shredded burdock and shirataki noodles, Simmered dish tuna and carrots, and pickled turnips in sweet vinegar. The side dishes are plentiful and have a homemade feel to them. -------------------------------------------------- ■ [Daily special] Stir-fried meat and vegetables (¥800) In addition to pork, onions, cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts, the dish also includes eggplant and green peppers. It has a simple salty flavor and is full of pork belly, making it very filling. It's not a strong flavor, but it's full of flavor, so it goes well with rice.
