About 7 minutes walk from Mishima Station and Hirokoji Station. Toramaru is a horse meat izakaya where you can enjoy horse meat and rare cuts.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a Mishima native. I thought, "What else can you find in Mishima besides fresh fish and eel?" so I went. I learned for the first time that horse meat is a specialty of Gotemba. Apparently, the restaurant opened in nearby Mishima 5 years ago. I was able to eat a very luxurious 3-item platter for just 2000 yen. It was very fresh and delicious. The liver was also delicious. This was enough to go with my drinks. The chef was also very friendly, so I didn't get bored even though I was eating alone at the counter.
