大手町の旧店舗から数えて、創業70年以上。 |
恐らく初チャレンジ。
北口亭は旧店舗の時に二度ほど訪問した。
外がパリッ、中がジューシーな餃子が好きなので、今イチだった。
近所人が何度か差し入れをしてくれたことがある。
直接受け取っていないので、中央亭か北口亭か不明だった。
間が悪く、食事の直後に持ってこられて、無理に食べたので印象は今イチ。
そんなわけで、あまりいい印象を持っていなかったので、訪問したことはなかった。
今になって「食わず嫌い」もどうかと思い、休日(平日だが)を利用して訪問した。
訪問にあたって考えていたのは、「餃子」という固定観念は捨てようということ。
純粋に料理として味わおうと思った。
10時過ぎに着いたら、すでに４人ほど並んでいた。
スーツケースを持っていたので、観光客か。
有名なお店のコッペパンを食べながら談笑していた。
食べ物屋さんに食べながら並ぶ人を見たのは初めてかも。
待っている間にお茶が配られた。
トイレも店内のを使ってくれという案内。
見事な気配りだ。
風が強いということで、11時より少し前に開店した。
こういうのも名店の証なんだろうな。
並んでいる時に注文を聞かれた。
10個と普通ライスを注文した。
着席して11:10に来た。
一口で頬張りたいところだが、熱々なのでやめておいた。
あれ？今まで食べた記憶と違う。
過去に食べた同種のものは、もたれる感じがしたのだが、全然違う。
スムーズにどんどん食べられる。
手が止まることなく10個完食した。
今まで食べなかったのを後悔した。
これなら食べるために並ぶのもわかる。
次いつなら並べるかを考えてしまった。
