海岸通りを千歳川沿いに湯河原温泉方面へと上がり川に掛かる小さな橋を渡ると、道は二股に、
どちらも、恐ろしいほどの胸坂上がりの道、、、右を選んだが行き止まり、、、戻って左へ。
道は細く急で、その上、ヘアピンの折り返し、大型車は難しいだろうな、そんな先に、崖に
張り出すように建つ二階建ての白い家。。。店前の狭いスペースに、崖下を気にしながら駐車、
ここでアクセルワークを間違えば、数十メートル下まで落下する。
マスターが出てきて、、〇〇様ですか？ と。
予約は昨日だったのが、台風の為に順延、、現地の様子をわざわざ電話で知らせてくれた、
昨夜の大荒れも落ち着いて、今は晴れ間も、、千葉に上陸したと防災アプリが知らせている。
店内はさほど広くもなく、小綺麗なしつらえ、、窓からは湯河原の海岸を見下ろす。
先客は2組、、マスターとの会話は、どちらもリピーターのもよう。
本日は4名で来店、、小腹程度の腹具合なので、いろいろとお願いして、シェアしようかと。
メニューに目を通しながら、マスターのお勧めの黒板のメニューを、
シラスのアヒージョ、自家製サバのスモーク、タコのカルパッチョをお願いする。
調理場には奥様か？ もう一名がいる様子、、料理の上りは早い、、、
最初の3品は、どれも好評で、あっと言う間に無くなる、、
次は、トマトピザのLサイズ、、、桜エビと水菜のパスタ、、トマトのボンゴレ、
ピザは、極薄のクラストで酒のアテには、持って来いの食感、具の風味が生きる。
パスタは、どちらも軽いガーリックの香り、、繊細な桜エビと塩の香りが五感をくすぐる、
ボンゴレもあさりの風味とライトなトマトソースがよく合う一品、
どちらも女性向きの仕上がり、口に残らなくさっぱりと美味しい、ワインを飲めないのが残念。
これは隠れた名店と言っても良いだろう、、多分、なにを食べても間違いのない味。
充分に人に勧められるお店であろう。
このグレードでこの単価も価値あり、女性達も、大満足のランチでした、
行きの急坂は、まさにレッドツェッペリンの天国への階段、、帰りは奈落の底に落ちないように。
