期待通りの美味しさだった。
40年以上続く宇都宮のうなぎ屋さん。
雰囲気のある店の佇まい。昔ながらの上品な赴きで、うなぎ屋としての「らしさ」が感じられる。
うな重 松
うな重には松と竹があり、松は良い方、高い方だ。蓋をされた状態で、すでに貫禄がある。
うなぎはふっくら関東風。タレの具合が甘みよりもわずかに醤油を立たせていて、これを大人の味付けといってしまうのは少しチープな物言いか。濃い味と踏んで心配になったが、最後まで飽きを感じることなく食べることができた。
一方で、肝吸いはどうだろうか。なんとなく塩味を帯びた仕上がりをイメージするが、こちらの肝吸いでは塩をほとんど感じない。
うなぎの味付けを邪魔させないためか。
多分、計算なんだろうな。よくまとまっている。

本日のうなぎは静岡県の浜名湖産
関東風。ふわっとはしているが、焼きもある程度入れている感じで端々に焦げた痕跡が見受けられる。
前回は醤油が前に出ている感覚だったが、今回の印象としてはさほど。甘さとのバランスが丁度良く、最後まで美味しく食べられた。
店の雰囲気はよく所々に川蝉の姿が確認できる。そこここにいるのを探しているだけでも楽しい。
