On the last day of Golden Week, on the way to Chiba from Morioka in the rain, I stopped in Utsunomiya and decided to sleep in my car. I visited here after 9pm, and since it was a Sunday night, there were only a few customers there. However, last order was at 10pm, so I drank at a fast pace. When I sat at the counter, I ordered a draft beer. The ice-cold draft beer was extremely delicious! ️٩( ᐛ )و I looked at the menu while listening to the nostalgic pop songs playing in the store and gradually getting drunk. (My farsightedness has gotten worse recently and I can't see the letters in the dark...) I chose the following dishes: Grilled skewer beef tendon tofu skewers, throat pork bones, liver, heart meat, and tripe. All of them were delicious, but when I go to various bars, I always order the throat pork bones, and this one was especially delicious! The grilling and salting are perfect, and the texture is superb. The chef is a young man, and you can tell he has a good sense for this dish! The beef tendon tofu is also superb! ️ The soy sauce-based seasoning makes it seem strong, but it's not too strong, and the light broth is sweet and rich and delicious. The lean beef tendon is stewed until it's tender, and the flavor is well-absorbed. Even though it's tofu, it's perfectly stewed, and the flavor is also well-absorbed! The menu we ordered is basically the same, but the seasoning is different from what we have in Chiba, so it's fun to travel and feel the difference. The staff were very friendly (^^) It was a famous restaurant that made me want to visit Utsunomiya again on a rainy day. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I'd like to visit earlier and try more of what's on offer (^^)
