I was looking for a restaurant where I could enjoy local sake in Tochigi, and I made a reservation because it fit my purpose best. It is located at the foot of Futarasan Shrine, and its appearance gives off a dignified atmosphere that belies the fact that it has only been open for about a year. The inside of the restaurant is small, with a counter, two tables, and a private room. Each person can choose two out of the four types of obanzai of the day. The two of us ordered 4 different dishes, but since some of the dishes are difficult to share, it would be best for groups to each choose what they want to eat. I heard that skewered dishes were recommended, so I ordered an platter of 3 pieces of chicken seseri and meatballs. The seseri is perfectly grilled and salted, making the best use of the ingredients. Tsukune with plenty of meat juice. And the super rich sweetness of the egg makes the meatballs shine. The eggs come from a poultry farm in Utsunomiya called Maho Tamago, and this is the first time I've heard of them even though I've passed by many times. This made me want to order other skewers, so I ordered 5 selection. What arrived were heart, naankotsu, kawara, beef skirt steak, and gizzard. Although the price is a bit high at 1,300 yen, the care with which the skewers are made and the quality of each piece makes you feel like you're at a high-end Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) restaurant, and I was more than satisfied with the price. Also, Maho Tamago's dashimaki tamago is definitely delicious. Although I was looking for sake, I was always surprised by the food. There was also nothing to say about the sake that was poured. The service was attentive and attentive, making it an absolutely perfect night. thank you very much.
