The store is located in a building that gives you a sense of history as you enter the small street from the main street of Tochigi, the town of warehouses. Toshihisa Kappo is one of the restaurants that serves Tochigi Edo cuisine. Actually, when I visited last week, it was full so I decided to make a reservation this time. The inside of the restaurant has the feel of an old-fashioned popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but it's very comfortable and doesn't feel like a regular patron. There are several tables in the raised area and about 6 counter seats, so even if you are alone, you can feel free to visit. This time I ate tuna and amberjack, and they were all fatty and very delicious. Fried food are also delicious and recommended.
