日本の紅葉を訪ね栃木県日光市の霧降の滝を訪ねました。ちょっと早かったですが昼食をとることにし立ち寄ったのがこちらのお店でした。
霧降の滝へほど近い場所で駐車場もあり至便ですが、トップシーズンでは駐車場のキャパが小さいようです。
サービスで漬物とそばの端切れをあげたせんべいのようなものが提供されますが、待ち時間にはうれしいサービスでした。
そばは腰も強く水切りも良く美味しくいただけますが、返しがそばの強さに負けているような気がします。こちら栃木は至るところそば屋が多く、蕎麦好きには申し分ない場所です。一つ一つの店のかえしの味が違いますが全体的に弱めのような気がします。山形だと辛めだし、信州は甘めで、東京は濃厚な辛めという気がします。とはいえ、今回のお店はまずまずでした。
