It's 2017. I want to keep exploring good restaurants this year too lol. Well, the first one of 2017 is this restaurant on the first floor of an apartment building near the Otawara Police Station, the Tax Office, and Otawara High School. There is a parking space for several dozen cars in front of the apartment building, and I thought it was a parking space for residents, but it seems that you can park anywhere...I wonder if that's true? ^_^ For now, we parked close to the restaurant. It's almost 1:30 pm...There's a little snow falling, so it's very cold and quiet. However...when we entered the restaurant...it's not very spacious, but it's quite crowded. So we sat at the counter. There are quite a few options for the lunch menu, from pasta to both meat and fish. I ordered the Rouge set, which includes an appetizer, soup, Meat Dishes, bread, dessert, and drink. The price was 1,560 or 1,580 yen. The meat was some kind of grilled pork...I didn't hear about it lol. My wife ordered something called Today's Open Lunch. The main dish on this day was stewed Hamburg. First was the appetizer. There were several bite-sized dishes and a salad of leafy vegetables. The dressing had a nice sour taste. The soup was pumpkin, which was also good. The main dish of grilled pork was light and had no unpleasant smell, and was quite good. The accompanying vegetables were also delicious. For dessert, we had panna cotta and chiffon cake. The portions were decent, and the satisfaction was commensurate with the price. This restaurant is close to my son's school, so we may have another chance to go there. But I tend to go to one of my favorite restaurants at night. Who knows when that will be lol
