I'm in Nasu-Shiobara. I went out for dinner with friends. We went to Hana no Mai, Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Seafood izakaya at Nasu-Shiobara Station. Lady: "Welcome." SFJ: "I'd like a draft beer... This is my first time in Nasu-Shiobara, what would you recommend?" Lady: "Maybe the bonito tataki or the tosa roll. I also recommend fish." Huh... Tosa roll? I came from Shikoku, and I wanted to have tosa roll here... So I ordered a five-kind sashimi platter. It was unusual to see soy sauce, sesame seeds, and salt on the sashimi platter. Horse sashimi, thick-sliced Cow tongue, Gyoza / Dumpling that is synonymous with Tochigi, a mega highball, Steak... etc. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal ('ｰ'人) ^☆". Later I looked at the website... and saw that they had some attractive course meals as well... I'd like to try them next time I have the chance.
