A colleague told me about this restaurant when I was working at my fourth job, just before turning 30. I wasn't able to go there while I was working there, but my child used to go to Bunka no Mori a lot when he was in elementary school, so I brought him here with my family. At that time, it was a restaurant with a more Showa-era feel, and we enjoyed delicious food in a relaxed tatami room. It was renovated a few years ago and is now a completely new restaurant, but the taste has not changed and Simmered dish, Fried food, and salads were delicious (^_^)v Today's daily special was a main dish of fried fish with a slightly sweet (I think) sauce, with miso soup and Small dish for 600 yen! It's a great deal. I was pretty hungry, so I ordered a fried chicken set meal that looked quite filling. There was a little green seaweed in the batter, and it was fried to perfection. After ordering, I was casually looking at the menu and came across a rare item called "soft-shelled turtle," which reminded me that I had heard that soft-shelled turtle dishes are a specialty (especially at night). As I was getting curious, a customer sitting two seats away from me ordered, so I quickly went and observed it! It was a light and delicious dish of noodles and clear soup in a shallow bowl for things like sara udon. Next time, I'll have that, or soft-shelled turtle porridge, or maybe a fresh conger eel dish, as it was sitting in a neta case. I left the restaurant thinking that. Thank you for the meal~(^_^)/~
