Night service is suspended
It seems they've now opened until the evening. I visited in the afternoon for the first time in a while. It was after lunch, so I thought they might have Shaved ice for dessert, but they hadn't started serving it yet. It was a delicious cheesecake!

I wonder if it's been a year since my last visit. I wanted to eat Western Cuisine in Tokushima City... but it was 4pm and other odd times... not many restaurants were open... Gallery Hana Anzume is very helpful at times like this, as it is open from lunch to dinner. Of course you can eat there too. There is a lot of nature, and not only miscellaneous goods are sold in the store, but also a lot of vegetables that are on sale at a discount. I always buy something to take home, and on this day I bought Overbush Crust bread (for dogs too!) and vegetables. After eating Steak... I regretted not having fried shrimp after all, and I couldn't resist and ordered Shaved ice. Black honey shaved Shaved ice with condensed milk. It was topped with red bean paste and ice cream, and it was a beautiful Shaved ice. Summer is all about Shaved ice. There was no Awa Odori this year... It's a shame because I've been eating Shaved ice from food stalls for the past few years. But thanks to Hana Anzume, I was happy to be able to eat Shaved ice this summer.
自然に囲まれたカフェ
車じゃないと行けないですが、納得の立地。
少し山に入ったすぐそこに、木の雰囲気が優しい、自然そのものに囲まれたこちらのカフェがあります。
元々は、鴨島のあんこ屋さん。
鴨島・石井にもお店があります。
お店の前にはお花の苗がたっくさん！
全て販売されています。
オーナーさんに大事に大事にされている、
幸せなお花たちです。
石井店でもお花たくさん置いてるんですが、こちらの八万店のほうが多いと思います。
また併設スペースがギャラリーになっていて、写真展や絵画展等、よくしてます。
花の苗・ギャラリーの他、食器や手作り雑貨、オーバッシュ・クラストさんのパンも販売。
蜂蜜とか、時期によっては苺、柚みそ、お野菜など…いろんな物が並んでいます。
さすがはあんこ屋さんだけあって、あんこもショーケースに並んでます。
そんなあんこを使ったういろうは、柔らかくってもっちもち。
モーニングのトーストには、あんこが付きます。
お昼は、お弁当が有名かな？
夜のメニューは洋食中心、
ハンバーグやオムライス、お肉系充実。
よくメニューが替わります。
あまりお皿など熱心には下げてくれないので、そのへんはあまり気にされないことをオススメします。
広い店内は、時間がゆっくり流れます。
ちょっと広すぎて、なかなか店員さんを呼べないという難点もありますが；
雑誌がとーってもたくさん置いてあるのでいつまでもいられそう。
夜はジャズやクラシックの生演奏も。

I went there for lunch for the first time in a while. The Hana Anzu Bento (boxed lunch) is ¥900, which is a good deal. I ordered the jumbo fried shrimp for ¥1900. This came with salad, rice, and miso soup. I got two shrimp, which was nice. I can't eat the heads, but I do eat the tails. Steak bowl looked delicious! It's still a popular restaurant.
