Since breakfast was late and I wasn't very hungry, I went to Hama Sushi for the first time, which I had heard from tourists at the rental car shop that it was delicious. It was around 3:30pm, but about half the tables were filled. Cod milt gunkan...milt topped with soy sauce jelly. Anglerfish Tempura nigiri...freshly fried, a nice touch. Yellowtail delivered directly from the market was on the POP but not on the menu. I thought it was probably sold out, so I couldn't order it. Overall, the taste was just about what I expected. I don't think it's worth going out of your way to eat there. They also have menu items that are probably unique to this area, such as Onomichi Ramen and Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki, so it might be a good place for a family to eat cheaply?!
