I visited Terrace 38 Terrace Thirty-Eight, a Filipino food and craft beer restaurant located along the Shinmachi Boardwalk, for the first time at 17:00 on Saturday after making a reservation through Tabelog. We were shown to a table for four inside. There were 5 people inside and 4 people outside. There is no bell, so orders are taken by calling out and asking for help. The manager was in charge of serving customers, and Mr. Danna was in charge of cooking. Outside customers came to the counter and asked for additional orders. When I ordered "nacho cheese", he asked me what size I wanted to order, so I asked him for a half size. The half size was quite small and I wondered if it might be kid size. Chicken "adobo" (chicken wings stewed in vinegar and soy sauce) is easy to eat because it is not too acidic. Lumpia," a long, thin spring roll dipped in vinegar with chili peppers, is hot and delicious ♡ I was nostalgic for the bean-flour dumplings I had in Taiwan and ordered "taho," which looks similar, but unfortunately it was sold out at lunch time! When I asked the manager what dessert he recommended, he said "leche flan" which is popular and always sold out. The size is available in full and half, and the full size is for two people, so that's what we decided on! The pudding is a bit tough and large in size. The full size was just the right size ♡ The snacks were crunchy, crunchy, spicy, and addictive ♡ When I was paying at the counter, I noticed the 200 yen price tag, so I bought a bag.
