日本で1番多くパンを食べているのは、京都府民である。○かXか？
この答えが○であることを知っている人は、今や少なくないだろう。
我が徳島でも、京都府民のようにもっと手軽にパンを食べてもらいたいと、今回沖浜のアンシュシュの後に新しいパン屋さんがオープンした。
店名は、「京都ブレッド TAKEMASA 沖浜店」、徳島県内を中心に飲食店を経営する(株)エンドレスイドム(小松島市)が新しく始めたパン屋さんだ。
京都でプティブラン という、100円パンをウリにしたパン屋さんを展開しているBlanc de Blanc という会社とライセンス契約を結び、今回の新店舗開設にこぎつけたらしい。
日曜日の午後２時ごろに店の前に着くと、駐車場は7割方埋まっている。店内もお客さんでいっぱい、パン棚を見回すと何もないところも多く、あるものだけをトレイに乗せていく。
1部サンドイッチやハンバーガーなど130円や160円というものもあったが、ほぽ100円のパンが並んでいる、ほぼほぼ。
「焼きあがりました。」と運ばれてきたパンを素早く乗せると、トレイの上は合計５つのパンが並んだ。
実はチラシを持って行くと、5個購入のお客さんには1個試食用のパンがもらえると書かれていたのである。
レジに行ってチラシを渡すと、「お客様、もう一つパンをお取りください」と、ビニル袋が渡された。
焼き上がったばかりのガーリックパンを袋に入れて、レジに戻る。
「540円いただきます。」
今回はオープン記念ということで、この値段で惣菜パンを6個ゲットできたのはラッキーだった。
夜、ビールのアテに、ガーリックパンをいただいたが、生地がもちもちとしていてうまい。
次の日の朝に食べたコーンマヨや高菜の入ったパンも、素材の質感が十分に生かされている。これで100円なら文句はない。
今回はオープン間もない、日曜の午後ということで、品数が少なかったが、HPによると1日70〜80種類のパンを販売していくそうだ。
