The restaurant is located in Kawajima-cho, Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima Prefecture. It is located along National Route 192, which connects Tokushima City to Ikeda Town. This location is truly Showa-era. The bright red Dosanko-san sign stands against the pink walls... At night, when the neon lights sparkle, it feels like a Showa-era trucker's resting spot. It is a long and narrow restaurant with counter seats and about four tables. There seems to be a smoking area outside, but the windows and entrance are left open, so a bit of smoke drifts in. I was alone, so I sat at a counter seat. At Dosanko-san, I have decided to have miso Ramen. (^^; I ordered a set of miso Ramen and a half serving of fried rice. This restaurant was run by a single elderly lady. Only Ramen arrived first. Since she was the only one running the place, it seemed like she started cooking the fried rice as soon as I arrived...I didn't want it to get soggy, so I just had Ramen first. (´・π・`)Slurp The miso soup with black sesame floating in it was just like Dosanko's miso Ramen. Corn, seaweed, and bean sprouts. I don't really like most of the ingredients, but Dosanko's bean sprouts are cut into small pieces and served piping hot. So, the bean sprouts, which I don't like, were not as noticeable and I enjoyed it very much. The half serving of fried rice arrived late. The fried rice, which was filled with lots of egg, had a light and fluffy texture and was delicious. This was the first time I'd ever seen this small flat plate from Dosanko. As with the cups with their original logo, the flat plate with the Pelican mark looked really cute...I even felt like "I want this tableware..." I ate it all. It's been a while since I've had Dosanko's miso Ramen. It was really good♪ Thank you for the meal.
